Often abbreviated as PPG with a number after it, this class of ingredients scares me a bit too. It's used in antifreeze which will kill cats, dogs, and small children. Ingestion of antifreeze is assocatied with kidney and liver failure. It used in polyurethane - the finish on bowling lanes and basketball courts. Its used in hydraulic fluid. It is absorbed through the skin.
